The Bavarian Natural History Collections, Munich (Staatliche Naturwissenschaftliche Sammlungen Bayerns, SNSB).
SNSB archive around 32 million specimens – the second largest natural history collection in Germany. Six state collections are very broadly positioned with anthropology, paleoanatomy, botany, mineralogy, paleontology, geology and zoology.
