Geotectonics publishes articles on general and regional tectonics, structural geology, geodynamics, and experimental tectonics, considers the relation of tectonics to the deep structure of the earth, magmatism, metamorphism, and mineral resources. Geotimes. Geotimes is the monthly news magazine for geoscience professionals and geoenthusiasts, issued by the American Geological Institute.

GFF
This is the journal of the Geological Society of Sweden.
GFF was founded in 1872 by the then “Geologiska Föreningen i Stockholm” under the name of Geologiska Föreningens i Stockholm Förhandlingar. As from 1994, volume 116, the journal was formally renamed GFF, its nickname since 1963 (an acronym of its original name).

Global and Planetary Change (Elsevier). The journal focuses on the record of change in planet and earth history and the analysis and prediction of recent and future changes. Topics include, but are not limited to, changes in the chemical composition of the oceans and atmosphere, climate change, sea level variations, human geography, global geophysics and tectonics, global ecology and biogeography.

The International Journal of Coal Geology deals with fundamental and applied aspects of the geology, petrology, geochemistry and mineralogy of coal, oil/gas source rocks, and shales.

Jahresberichte und Mitteilungen des Oberrheinischen Geologischen Vereins, N.F. This is a scholarly journal with an emphasis on geology, geomorphology, stratigraphy, tectonics, landscape evolution, river history of the upper Rhine region (upper rhine graben) and adjacent areas. A special highlight of contributions to the journals are field trip guides documenting field trips to many interesting field locations, mostly in Germany and adjacent countries.

Journal of Geoscience Education.
The Journal of Geoscience Education (JGE) is the premier peer-reviewed publication for geoscience education research and curriculum and instruction at the undergraduate and pre-college levels. JGE is the publication of record for NAGT, and serves as the only international forum dedicated solely to the publication of research concerning the pedagogy, assessment, and philosophy of teaching and learning about the geosciences.

Journal of Sedimentary Research Abstracts. Formerly the Journal of Sedimentary Petrology, the journal is issued is two parts. A. Sedimentary Petrology and B. Stratigraphy and Global Studies.

Journal of South American Earth Sciences (Elsevier). The Journal of South American Earth Sciences provides an international medium for the publication of scientific work concerned with all aspects of the earth sciences in the South American continent and the surrounding oceans.

Journal of Structural Geology (Elsevier). This journal publishes original research and review articles in structural geology and tectonics.
